TallyWeb enhances experience for Waiheke Marina customers

A brand-new marina presents a unique opportunity to rethink and optimise everything. When aiming to deliver an outstanding customer experience and streamline marina processes, TallyWeb emerged as the ideal solution for Waiheke Marina eliminating the need for manual meter readings, invoice creation, and payment collection for power and other services.
Seamless Access and Services
Waiheke Marina has implemented TallyWeb-enabled T4 and T6 power pedestals and TallyWeb TWI keypads, which provide access to gates, doors, and paid services such as showers and the refuse compound. Marina users receive a PIN code via SMS and email, valid from their check-in date and time until their check-out date. This PIN code grants access to both paid and free services.
Enhanced Customer Experience
Marina users can log in to view their daily power consumption, account charges, and top up their balance using a credit card. TallyWeb also offers an automatic top-up feature, ensuring users never run out of credit. The automatic PIN code system allows users to arrive and access services at their convenience. Checking out is hassle-free, with all services consumed during the stay already paid for.
An additional benefit of the TallyWeb pedestal is the flexibility it offers. Users can connect to any available power outlet by entering their PIN code, providing a solution if a specific socket is unavailable. Steve Rea, Director of Marathon Products, the local TallyKey Distributor, notes that “users can also receive an SMS message if their plug is disconnected under load, providing peace of mind about the status of power on board their boat.”
Enhanced Security
TallyWeb enhances security by ensuring that only registered users can access the facilities. The PIN codes automatically expire at check-out time, giving Waiheke Marina confidence in knowing who is accessing the premises without the need to manage physical cards or key fobs. Additionally, all transactions and access logs are recorded, allowing any issues to be quickly addressed.
TallyWeb and TallyBee
TallyWeb can operate alongside TallyBee pedestal radios, enabling older TallyBee installations to unlock many of the benefits that Waiheke Marina is achieving with TallyWeb.
